Sleeping out in the COT with millions of stars
One of the 2012 Classic Outback Trial’s overnight stops is at Ivanhoe in south western NSW. As the sleeping accommodation in that fine town totals 4.7 beds (not counting the hospital), and the nearest town with motels is hundreds of kilometres away, the organisers have decided to offer you a once in a lifetime experience of "in-tents" excitement on that night.
The following will be supplied, for the all up total price of $100 (less than the cost of twenty beers at the pub)
An erected and dismantled two man tent that contains two stretchers with mattresses and sleeping bags, and towels supplied.
This quality outdoor accommodation is supplied by Geoff Becker's Motorsport Safety & Rescue organisation. There are only 45 two man tents available so book yours by emailing me your requirements.
The tent city will be set up in the rolling lush, verdant acres of the Ivanhoe Caravan Park, where toilets and showers reside, is regarded as one of the finest this side of Pooncarie. There will be no extra charge for breathing the fresh country air or looking at the spectacular starry sky.
Breakfast will again be served by the friendly Frontier Services crew.
